Grindavik golf course is a challenging 18-hole golf course. It is located in Reykjanes in the fisherman town called Grindavik. A drive from Reykjavik city center takes approximately 50 minutes, from Keflavik airport 25 minutes.
Grindavik golf course is known for its fascinating layout, where golfers experience ocean golf, inland golf, and lava golf. An interesting fact about Grindavik golf course is that it only takes you about 5 minutes to drive to the Blue Lagoon, which is in our opinion a must for all who visit Iceland. Grindavik golf course is a regular venue for the Icelandic junior tour and takes pride in its tournament hosting.
Facilities at Grindavik golf course include a club-house with a restaurant and a pro-shop. Rental of golf clubs, trolleys, and a golf cart is also available. The practice area includes driving range, ball machine, chipping green, putting green and bunkers.
