Oddur golf course is without a doubt one of the top golf courses in Iceland. It is a heathland course surrounded by Búrfells volcanic lava. Our favorite hole: The 17th hole – a short par 4 where lava meets the forest. The hole is usually played in two ways: People either go for the green or lay up to a good yardage. Pro tip if you are going for the green: Hit the ball at the highest “forest” tree. If your drive goes straight at the highest tree and over 265m/289yd, we will guarantee that your ball will be very close to the green and if you have a good short game, you will more than likely make eagle or birdie, you’re welcome.
